Michio Kaku -- The Future of the Mind

Book Signing Table 4 Saturday 05:00 PM - 06:00 PM 60 Minutes Add to Schedule!

Special Note: Michio Kaku will perform on the Einstein Stage on Saturday at 4:00 PM.

Michio Kaku is a noted physicist, bestselling author, and one of the most widely recognized science figures in the world today. He is an internationally recognized authority in two areas: Einstein’s unified field theory  -- which he is attempting to complete -- and predicting trends affecting business, commerce, and finance based on the latest research in science.
In his latest book, The Future of the Mind (a New York Times bestseller), Michio gives readers a bold look into what the future hold for the human mind and where research in this frontier is headed. He will discuss such futuristic wonders, including foreseeing a time when: our dreams will be able to be captured on video and used in new forms of entertainment and re-experienced by others; and hand-held, Star Trek-like devices the size of a mobile phone will be capable of diagnosing disease.
Michio, who is also known for his other bestsellers, Physics of the Future, and Physics of the Impossible, holds the Henry Semat Chair in Theoretical Physics at the City University of New York (CUNY). His Ph.D.-level textbooks are required reading at many of the world’s leading physics laboratories. He is also renowned for co-founding the string theory (the mathematical theory that tries to explain certain phenomena that is not currently explainable under the standard model of quantum physics).
