What does the future hold for the human mind and consciousness? Plenty, says famous theoretical physicist and futurist Michio Kaku -- who in his current New York Times bestseller, The Future of the Mind, foresees a time when:
--Our dreams will be captured on video and used for new forms of entertainment that will be capable of recording a full range of our senses and emotions to be re-experienced by audiences;
--Star Trek-like devices, including a hand-held MRI the size of a mobile phone, will be able to diagnose disease;
--Scientists will build a neuro-internet of the brain through which thoughts can be sent around the world!
Join us at the Expo when Michio -- one of the most widely recognized science visionaries in the world today -- takes audiences inside such bold frontiers through his recent book and his other exciting works.
Audiences have come to expect nothing less from Michio, the man who co-founded the string theory (the mathematical theory that tries to explain certain phenomena that is not currently explainable under the standard model of quantum physics) and who is known for his other best-sellers such as Physics of the Future, and Physics of the Impossible.
He is an internationally recognized authority in two areas: Einstein's unified field theory (which he is attempting to complete) and predicting trends affecting business, commerce, and finance based on the latest research in science.
He holds the Henry Semat Chair in Theoretical Physics at the City University of New York (CUNY). Michio graduated from Harvard University in 1968 (summa cum laude and first in his physics class) and received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of California at Berkeley in 1972.
His Ph.D.-level textbooks are required reading at many of the world's leading physics laboratories. In addition to appearing on virtually every major media outlet ranging from CNN, Fox News to David Letterman, he has also hosted major science TV specials, such as the one based on his book, Physics of the Future, on the Science Channel.
Note: Michio Kaku will also appear at the Festival Expo's Book Fair on April 26 where he will discuss his works and sign his books.
