Volunteers

Volunteer Outreach Team

The Volunteer O100_3207utreach Team is a dynamic group of STEM Adult and Youth Volunteer Leaders who are spreading the word to local schools, libraries, community organizations and companies. We have over 250 registered Volunteer Outreach Team members since May 2011. Volunteers have distributed over 650,000 postcards and 15,000 posters to the DC Metro Area. The next Volunteer Outreach Team meeting is  scheduled for February 12, 2012 at K&L Gates in Washington, DC. Please come join us!

Festival Volunteers:

Volunteers who would like to work on special projects or provide volunteer outreach outside the DC area use the following form. This form will be updated to register for Volunteer Shifts at the EXPO and Book Fair in February, 2012.


Book Fair Key Volunteers:USESEF_book_fair_logo_article

The Festival will be looking for Key Volunteer leadership positions with the Book Fair for full day shifts on Saturday and/or Sunday. Key Volunteers will get additional training before the Festival and they will help manage Volunteers in their areas.100_3213 Opportunities are: Book Fair Stage Coordinator, Book Fair Audience Manager, Book Fair Announcers, Magic School Bus Coordinator, Author Escort, Book Fair Line Coordinator.
